Stow Money is operated by Drewprint Studios LLC. By using Stow Money, you agree to these Terms.
Stow Money uses AI to generate planning guidance. See the [AI Use Disclosure](/legal/ai-use-disclosure) for details on how AI is used, its limitations, and what data it processes.
1. Important financial disclaimer
Stow Money is a software product, not a human financial professional.
Stow Money is not:
- a registered investment adviser
- a broker-dealer
- a bank
- a lender
- a fiduciary
- a law firm
- an accounting firm
- a licensed financial planner, tax adviser, or attorney
Stow Money provides software-generated guidance, planning suggestions, and organizational tools. It does not provide personalized professional financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.
No fiduciary, advisory, brokerage, agency, attorney-client, accountant-client, or similar professional relationship is created by your use of Stow Money.
You remain responsible for:
- deciding whether to follow any recommendation
- verifying balances, rates, due dates, and payment details
- maintaining required minimums and autopay settings
- checking account availability before moving money
- consulting qualified professionals when needed
If you follow a recommendation, you do so at your own direction and risk.
2. No guarantee of outcomes
Stow Money does not guarantee:
- savings amounts
- debt payoff timelines
- tax outcomes
- investment outcomes
- accuracy of inferred data
- uninterrupted availability of the service
Forecasts, timelines, and recommendations are estimates based on available data and may be incomplete or wrong.
Stow Money may rely on third-party data providers and user-supplied information. If those inputs are delayed, incomplete, inferred incorrectly, or inaccurate, Stow Money’s output may also be delayed, incomplete, inferred incorrectly, or inaccurate.
3. Recommendation-only product
Unless and until Stow Money explicitly offers a separate automated execution feature, Stow Money will operate as a recommendation and planning product only.
If the product shows payment or allocation suggestions, that does not mean Stow Money has executed those actions for you.
If Stow Money later offers automation or assisted execution features, those features will be subject to additional authorizations, terms, disclosures, operational safeguards, and eligibility requirements.
4. User responsibilities
You agree to:
- provide accurate information where you manually enter data
- review recommendations before acting on them
- keep external account credentials secure
- avoid using the product for illegal, deceptive, or fraudulent activity
You must continue making your ordinary required payments, minimum payments, and autopay obligations unless you intentionally change them yourself. Stow Money’s extra-payment recommendations are not a substitute for your obligation to manage required payments.
5. User-entered text and sensitive data
Stow Money applies technical measures to detect and block sensitive data — such as account numbers, Social Security numbers, and similar identifiers — from being submitted through free-text fields, including the financial assistant. However, these measures are not exhaustive and cannot prevent all possible inputs.
You are responsible for what you type into free-text fields. You should not enter passwords, full account numbers, Social Security numbers, government-issued ID numbers, or other sensitive personal or financial identifiers into any chat or context field. If you choose to enter sensitive data, you do so at your own risk. Stow Money is not liable for any exposure or misuse of data you voluntarily submit through free-text fields.
6. Service availability and changes
Stow Money may change, pause, or remove features at any time, especially during early development.
Stow Money may also change model providers, recommendation logic, product limits, and supported integrations at any time.
7. Limitation of reliance
You must not rely on Stow Money as your sole source of decision-making for material financial matters.
If a decision could materially affect your finances, taxes, legal obligations, housing, insurance, or credit standing, you must review the situation yourself and, where appropriate, consult a qualified professional.
Without limiting the above:
- do not treat Stow Money as a substitute for licensed financial planning advice
- do not treat Stow Money as tax advice
- do not treat Stow Money as legal advice
- do not use Stow Money output as the sole basis for investment decisions
- do not assume Stow Money has complete knowledge of every account, debt, due date, or off-platform obligation
8. No warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stow Money is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or availability.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stow Money and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost savings, lost data, business interruption, or similar losses arising from or related to the use of the product.
10. Dispute resolution and arbitration
If you have a dispute with Stow Money, please contact us first at [email protected]. We will try to resolve it informally within 30 days.
If informal resolution fails, you and Stow Money agree to resolve any dispute through binding individual arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), rather than in court. The arbitration will be conducted in Oklahoma. You and Stow Money each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in any class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding.
This arbitration agreement does not apply to: (a) claims that qualify for small claims court; or (b) claims seeking injunctive or other equitable relief for intellectual property violations.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of Stow Money will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Oklahoma.
